Mini Bug Out Survival Kit for EDC
I spent the past few weeks researching survival kits for every day care (EDC).
I was inspired by this blog post here: http://www.bugoutsurvival.com/2010/06/minimal-bug-out-kit-for-edc.html
Well, here is my kit:
CLIF Bar - for energy
Motrin - Ibuprofen - 2 pills (for pain)
Tylenol - Acetaminophen - 2 pills (for fever)
Aleve - Naproxen - (blue bills) - 2 pills (for pain/headache)
Alcohol Prep Pad - 2
Clarity Clean it - lenses wipe
Waterproof fire stick broke in half
Assorted latex free bandages
Potable Aqua water purification tablets - 2 tablets = 1 quart of water
Carmex moisturizing lip balm - external analgesic
Magnesium Fire Starter and scraper
Victorinox Swiss Army Fieldmaster Pocket Knife
Mini Sharpie permanent marker
Various sewing needles and thread
Handkerchief
Quart size freezer bag - 1
Small plastic bag to put items in

Put the small stuff in a small plastic seal-able bag:
Put it all inside the handkerchief:
Fold it up and tie it with something (I would like to get some paracord for this):
This will fit nicely in a messenger bag, a coat with big pockets, purse, etc.
